Escambia County (AL) - Atmore Community Hospital Awards Northview Advertising Contest Winners

Atmore Community Hospital has announced the first winners of their High School Advertising Contest. Winners are Logan Misenar - First Place, Kate Stinson - Second Place and Amber Irby - Third Place.

"There were many good entries that were submitted," stated Brad Lowery, Atmore Community Hospital Administrator. "Unfortunately, not everyone can be selected as a winner, but we do thank everyone who submitted an entry for participating and encourage them to try again in the future."

Contest winners received $100 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third place. Each participant was given the specifications of two medium options of either completing a Drawings or completing a digitally designed piece of artwork. Contestants were asked to include the Atmore Hospital logo in their designs and the advertisement was to focus on therapy services or radiology services offered at the hospital. Officials stated that there are larger plans for the contest going forward.

"The advertising contest was a trial run of a much larger program the Escambia County Health Care Authority will roll out in the fall of 2022,"stated Jason Daniel, Marketing Director for the Escambia County Health Care Authority. "Northview was selected to compete in an early version so we could kick-off the program and get a feel for how it would work."

In the fall of 2022 Atmore Hospital will open the program to all school age students ages K-12 to participate from students who attend schools at Atmore City Schools, Escambia Academy, Atmore Christian, Excel in Alabama and Escambia County Florida Schools on the Alabama Florida border. There will be a fall contest in 2022 and a spring contest in 2023.
