Atmore Therapy Services Announces
Donation by Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary

ATMORE, AL - Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) Therapy Services has announced that ACH Auxiliary Services has made a $4,000 donation towards the purchase of a car transfer simulator. ACH Auxiliary Services are all community volunteers.

"We are so very thankful for the contribution towards the car simulator," stated Loren Taylor, ACH Therapy Services Manager. "The simulator allows our staff the ability to provide exemplary care to the community, while we meet ever-changing insurance requirements we must adhere to."

The car transfer simulator is designed to provide a safe and convenient alternative to a parking lot car transfer. The simulator brings our patients in out of the elements to practice safely getting in and out of a car. This is an activity that is required to be reported to insurance companies.

"Our ACH Auxiliary Services team is exceptional," stated Suzanne McGill, ACH Interim Administrator. "Throughout the years, the Auxiliary volunteers have provided many things for our hospital and they continue to be a blessing to us."

The Auxiliary volunteers are dedicated in providing care and compassion to ACH patients and an invaluable service to Atmore Community Hospital. The group will conduct merchandise and food sales held in the auditorium are open to the public. They also run the ACH gift shop that is open daily.

The ACH Auxiliary volunteers do not get paid, these special women, and one man, dedicate their time to give back to the community and to help those in need. Gift Shop Hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
