ACH Family Practice Adds Provider LaTanja Bettis, CRNP

Atmore (AL) - Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) announced that they have added LaTanja Bettis, CRNP to their medical staff. She has already begun seeing patients at ACH Family Physicians.

"LaTanja will be joining Dr. Jonah McIntyre at ACH Family Physicians. She brings a wealth of medical experience to our team from both the clinical and hospital perspective." stated Brad Lowery, Hospital Administrator. "LaTanja has worked many years as a provider and we fell she will be a great asset to not only our medical staff, but to our community as well."

Mrs. Bettis has been serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner since January of 2019 with Signify Health Case Management in Mobile, Ala. During this same time, she worked with Touro Infirmary in New Orleans as a Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse. Bettis also worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the Mobile County Health Department from 2009 to 2020. Prior to role as a nurse practitioner, she was a Case Manager for University of South Alabama, Women's & Children, in Mobile, Ala.

Bettis received her Masters of Nursing from the University of Mobile in Mobile, Ala. in 2007. She also holds a Doctorate of Nursing from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala.
