Open House for Dr. Marc Saunders, DO, FACS Scheduled for March 28 at 4:00 p.m.

Atmore, AL - Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) will have an open house on Tuesday, March 28 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to welcome Dr. Marc Saunders, DO, FACS to the Atmore community. The event will be open to the public at ACH Specialty Care located at 406 Medical Park Drive (Former MedPlus Building).

Dr. Saunders received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, N.Y. He completed his residency training at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Saunders has been a Board Certified Surgeon since 1995 and has over 27 years of general surgical and endoscopy experience

Saunders most recently worked as a wound care physician in Miramar, Fla. at Vohra Wound Physicians from 2021 - 2022. Prior to that position, he worked as a general hospital surgeon for Baptist Medical Group in Pensacola, Fla. from 2017 - 2020 and St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio from 2011 - 2016. Dr. Saunders also was in private practice in Youngstown, Ohio from 1994-2004 and again from 2009-2016.
