ECHCA Names Cody Wilson New Director of DW McMillan EMS
ESCAMBIA COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY

Escambia County (AL) - The Escambia County Health Care Authority (ECHCA) announced today that Cody Wilson has accepted the position of D.W. McMillan EMS Director. D.W. McMillan EMS offers emergency paramedic and EMT response to area citizens in coordination with county E911.

"We are pleased to be able to announce that Cody Wilson has been selected as the D.W. McMillan EMS Director," Stephen Fischer, ECHCA CEO said. "Cody will be assuming the role of leading a highly-skilled team of EMT's and Paramedics to respond to our community's needs."

Wilson, who is already employed with D.W. McMillan EMS, has been on staff since 2010, where he began as an EMT. In 2012, Wilson completed his paramedic training. Prior to joining D.W. McMillan EMS, Cody worked as a basic EMT for Gems EMS in Greenville, Ala. and at Petrey Wholesale in Montgomery, Ala. Wilson earned both his Basic EMT and Paramedic training certificates from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia, Ala.

Wilson replaces Justin Cole who has been an employee of D.W. McMillan EMS since 2008 and EMS Director since 2013. He is looking forward to a new chapter in his EMS career teaching EMS at Coastal Alabama Community College

D.W. McMillan EMS is the emergency service provider to Eastern Escambia County, Alabama covering from Flomaton to the Escambia Covington County line. There are three full time ambulances always in service staffed with a paramedic and an EMT. D.W. McMillan EMS provides 24/7 service 365 days a year to the citizens of Escambia County in coordination with Escambia County E911.
