Nursing

Atmore Community Hospital provides nursing care for several different specialty areas throughout the hospital. Our team of nurses include: Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Techs, as well as Medical Assistants. Nursing care is provided in the Urgent Care, Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinic, Surgery Department, General Post Op (Med Surg), Intensive Care Unit, Cardiopulmonary Department, and in the Medical Clinics.

Nursing Education
CEU classes are periodically offered at no cost for nursing employees.
American Heart Association Courses (ACLS, PALS) are taught three to four times each year.
BLS Courses are available at no cost for employees
Online education to include annual education requirements and free CEU courses through Healthstream
