Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to serve in a multifaceted role supporting Employee Health, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Credentialing, and Quality Assurance (QA). This position plays a critical role in promoting a safe, compliant, and high-quality environment for both patients and staff.
The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical knowledge with organizational and leadership skills to support regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and staff health programs.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Health
Oversee employee health programs, including immunizations, screenings, and exposure follow-up.
Maintain employee health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide guidance on workplace health and safety practices.
Patient Safety
Support and promote a culture of patient safety throughout the organization.
Assist in identifying, tracking, and analyzing safety events and trends.
Participate in root cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions.
Infection Control
Monitor and enforce infection prevention practices in accordance with CDC and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct infection surveillance, reporting, and trending.
Educate staff on infection control protocols and best practices.
Credentialing
Assist with provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing documentation.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Perform chart reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Monitor core measures and support quality improvement initiatives.
Assist with audits, reporting, and performance improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience (acute care preferred).
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in Infection Control, Quality, Employee Health, or Risk Management.
Previous experience with regulatory surveys, audits, or compliance programs.
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or related field (preferred but not required).
