Biography:

Dr. Burnham, a native of Brewton Alabama, received fellowships in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiology Research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and while there he was named the Frederick L. Hawes Fellow in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation. Dr. Burnham completed his internal medicine internship and residency programs at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a summa cum laude undergraduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
