Lab Manager - Laboratory
Fulltime Lab Manager
Duties/skills:
-Directs, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities in any or all divisions of the Clinical Laboratory.
-Is responsible for operating budget, capital budget, and review of monthly financial responsibility reports.
-Oversees laboratory computer system and HIS-related issues including, charge numbers, CPT coding, and lab-related patient account problems.
-Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
-Reports to Physician Director of Lab/Hospital CEO
-All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences
-ASCP or AMT preferred.
-5 years experience in Clinical Laboratory required.
-3-5 year experience in Supervisor/Manager role required.
-Proficient computer skills required.
Salary negotiable depending on training and experience.
