Patient Care Tech/CNA - Med-Surg
Full-time CNA/Patient Care Tech
7:00am - 7:00pm shift
36 hours per week
Responsibilities: Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.
This position is under the direction of a RN or Charge Nurse of the assigned area. Incumbents are responsible for various shifts and maybe subject to hours over 40 per week and call back as required.
Requirements: High school graduate or GED
Working knowledge of direct patient care
Successful completion of Nursing Assistant program and working knowledge of Nursing Assistant functions gained through experience;
BLS certification thru American Heart Association or Red Cross
Excellent bedside manner and customer care of patients and families.
